Registration
Register as a seller at MyConsignmentManager
Prior to completing registration, you will be required to fill out our seller’s contract through MyConsignmentManager. To see the contract, please click here.
To begin tagging your items, log into MyConsignmentManager and enter your items. You may enter items as soon as your registration is complete until the tagging deadline, typically the Sunday night (at 11:59pm) prior to the sale.
Select whether you want your item to be returned or donated if it does not sell.
Once you are done entering items, print your tags. All items must have a BARCODE through My Consignment Manager to be sold. Tags may be printed anytime until drop-off.
For best results, use cardstock (i.e., thicker paper) to print tags. Please ensure that the bar codes are clearly printed – this may require you to use normal, draft, or thick paper mode on your printer. You may also use regular copier paper, but we have found that thick paper tends to be more secure, less likely to be inadvertently removed from an item, and easier to scan.
Print Tags for items that are DONATE YES on WHITE PAPER. Unsold items with white tags will be donated at the end of the sale.
Print Tags that are DONATE NO on LIGHT GREEN PAPER. Unsold items with green tags will be donated at the end of the sale. Rather than using light green cardstock, you can use another way of making the tags green, such as highlighting or coloring the tags. Please thoroughly color the tag since this helps us pull DONATE: NO tags at the end of the sale. However, do NOT color over the barcode!
Each item must have a scannable tag with its own barcode to be sold.
Please make sure that your tags are well-secured onto your items. We cannot sell any item without a tag! We recommend using plenty of packaging tape for non-clothing items. If your item is separated from its tag, the best way to help us reunite them is to include a detailed description of your item on the tag. Nondescript tags (e.g., “Pants 3T”) are less likely to be matched with their item before the end of the sale. A better description is, “Gap pants, navy with white flowers 3T”.

Tagging Guidelines
Clothing and shoes must be current, clean and in good condition to be included in the sale.
Will your clothes pass the “sniff test”? Clothes with a strong musty, mothball, or smoky odor cannot be accepted.
Heavily worn or pilled clothing will not be accepted – please consider whether you would purchase an item in its current condition before bringing it to the sale.
Items brought in on plastic hangers will have to be re-hung onto wire hangers before being checked in.
The tag must be fixed to the item with a safety pin at the TOP RIGHT when looking at the clothing item! It is up to the seller to make sure tags are appropriately fixed to sale items. Items without tags cannot be sold!
Cardstock, sturdy safety pins, and a piece of tape over the safety pin can help your tags to stay affixed to your clothes. In the event that a tag falls off, a descriptive tag can help Glenn Sale volunteers reunite your tag with your item.
Items that do not pass Quality Control will be marked on the tag. They can then be accepted for donation to one of our supporting charities or you may take it home with you.
After check-in and a quality control check, sellers will hang their clothes on the racks by size. For additional details about seller drop-off, please click here.
Sellers who have chosen not to donate their remaining items will pick up their items on the Monday following the sale. For additional details about seller pick-up, please click here.
Sellers receive 66% of their sales and should expect a check mailed within 4 weeks of the sale. For more information about seller payment, please click here.
Clothing
Clothing should be neatly folded with a visible tag safety pinned to the front. No straight pins permitted.
We only accept BOY’S AND GIRL’S clothing, sizes PREEMIE to 14.
If you choose to sell multiple items under one tag (ie, 2 sets of pajamas or 6 T-shirts), please package all items neatly together in a Ziploc bag and place 1 item tag with the set.
We cannot accept items with:
Stains
Tears
Holes
Missing Buttons
Broken Zippers
Obvious Odor (smoke, etc.)
Animal Hair
Excessive Wear (pilling, change in color at knees and elbows, missing ties and/or trim details, loose elastic, etc.)
BABY ITEMS
Layette and accessories (hats, caps, booties, blankets, swaddlers, onesies, tights, hair bows, etc.) do not need to be hung.
These items can be placed in Ziploc bags and sealed with packing tape, but if you are able to secure the tag without the use of a bag, that is okay. Place these items in Ziploc bags, seal the opening with tape, and tape the tag securely to the outside.
If bagging items, we recommend using packaging tape so that the tags stay securely affixed to the Ziploc bags.
Shoes
We accept shoe sizes infant to Big Kid size 7 1/2.
Place matching pairs of shoes in Ziploc bags, seal the bag with tape, and tape the tag securely to the outside.
If the shoes are too large for bags or you choose not to use bags for any shoes, we recommend that you bind them together with zip ties through the tabs or shoestring holes. We also suggest laminating or wrapping packing tape around the tag to make it more durable. Then, either hole-punch the tag and attach using a zip tie or safety pin. Do not hole punch or pin through the barcode! As another option, you can securely tape the tag to the sole of these shoes, making sure to use plenty of heavy duty tape so that the tag won’t be pulled off easily. Please note that we have found that placing the shoes in plastic bags keeps the tags and the shoes together better than taping the tag to the bottom of the shoe. Remember: In case of the tag falling off, please include a detailed description of the item on the tag so we can reunite the item and the tag!
Home Decor
Please make sure your home décor items are appropriate for a children’s sale. We only accept children’s knick-knacks, rugs, wall hangings, curtains, etc. If your item would not be found in the baby or children’s section of a store, we are not able to sell it.
Securely affix tags to each item using tape or safety pins.
If items such as rugs have an unpleasant odor, they will not be sold, and the seller will not receive credit for the item.
TOYS, PUZZLES, AND GAMES
Toys, games, and puzzles must be complete and in good working order. Double check that all game pieces/parts are included before sealing the box. Check for rusty, broken, and/or worn out toys and parts. Consider whether you would purchase the toy in its current condition before bringing it to the sale.
Please include batteries to show the item works or write on the tag that the item has been tested and works if you do not choose to include batteries.
Boxes should be taped or wrapped shut. Items with small pieces can be taped shut in Ziploc bags that will keep them securely together. For items that cannot be bagged, use heavy-duty tape to keep all parts together. We suggest limiting the use of packing tape directly on any writing, stickers, or cardboard to avoid messing up any pictures. Instead, the use of cling wrap first and then tape to secure the wrap should be considered.
We do accept large items such as train tables, dollhouses, play kitchens, bicycles, sports equipment, etc.
Please note that toys, puzzles, and games sold in bad faith, such as those that clearly do not function or are missing parts, will give The Glenn Sale the right to refuse the seller participation in future sales as stated in the seller contract.
BOOKS AND DVDs
We recommend using painter’s tape to affix your tags to books and DVDs so that items are not damaged when the tag is removed by the purchaser. Please tape the tags to the outside of the books and DVDs. Please make sure the DVD is inside the case prior to seller drop-off!
We cannot accept VHS tapes or R-rated movies.
Include as much detail as possible on the tag so that buyers can search for your book in our online store.
Please note, books and DVDs sold in bad faith, such as those that are missing parts, will give The Glenn Sale the right to refuse the seller participation in future sales as stated in the seller contract.
STROLLERS and BICYCLES
Do not tape strollers shut.
We recommend that you inflate bicycle tires.
Secure the tag well in a highly visible area. Tape, Zip ties, or Safety pins work well for this.
Large Baby Equipment
Swings, exersaucers, high chairs, and jumperoos tend to be popular.
Secure the tag well in a highly visible area.
We do accept baby gates and bed rails. Please secure all necessary hardware to the items.
We cannot accept recalled Fisher-Price Rock n’ Play sleepers.
CAR SEATS AND BOOSTERS
We accept car seats and boosters that are less than four years old and clean. No car seat brought into the sale should have been involved in any accident, even fender benders.
Car seats and boosters for sale in Spring 2021 should have been manufactured after February 2017 with an expiration date after February 2022.
The Glenn Sale cannot be responsible for recalled or expired items. If your car seat has been recalled, has expired, or has been in any kind of accident, please do not try to sell it.
CHILDREN’S FURNITURE
We accept toddler beds, bassinets, cradles, pack and plays, changing tables, and gliders. We do NOT accept cribs.
You may bring items disassembled as much as possible and label each piece (e.g., 1 of 5, 2 of 5, etc.) so that the pieces stay together.
Notes
The Glenn Sale will use reasonable efforts to maintain all consignment items and return unsold items as requested. We will not be responsible for any lost, stolen, or unaccounted items. No returns or refunds will be allowed.
To show our appreciation to our sellers and donors, we provide early VIP Preview Access. Preview access will be staggered to prevent the website from crashing, and individualized codes will be emailed prior to the access time slot.. The Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) recently clarified its regulation of the sale of children’s products recommended for children age 12 and under. Under these new guidelines, “Sellers of used children’s products, such as thrift stores and consignment stores, are not required to certify that those products meet the new lead limits, phthalates standard or new toy standards.” However, please be advised it will be your (the consignor’s) responsibility to ensure that all items tagged for sale in the Glenn Clothing Sale comply with the CPSC regulations regarding lead content and recalled items. All consignors should check the CPSC website (www.cpsc.gov) for information before submitting items for sale to ensure that items offered for sale comply with the new law. Items not in compliance may be turned away at check-in or pulled from the sale at the discretion of The Glenn Sale volunteers.
The Glenn Sale has the right to remove items deemed unacceptable or unsafe even after the item passed quality control.
